USDA Civil Rights Group Visits LivingFuture's SHO Farm
USDA's New England Civil Rights/Equal Opportunity Employer (CR/EEO) group spent a day with us in September, 2019. We toured SHO’s permaculture orchard and duck sanctuary and talking about new frontiers in food systems, and wildlife-assisted agroforestry. We shared some seaberry juice and cold hardy kiwi. What a GREAT group of people, very receptive to, and interested in regenerative principles. This in itself seemed so significant to us: the interest by a Federal agency in a regenerative-agroforestry-sanctuary farm. A BIG DEAL!!
They came to the farm for their annual in-person meeting--some had never met in person despite working together electronically.
We're proud at SHO and LivingFuture to create a safe space for multiple gender identities, orientations, abilities, cultures, and those who respect the multi-dimensional expressions of Life and Love. GO LIFE!!!
